Jon is a long-time native of Cary, North Carolina. In 2003, Jon graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill, Kenan-Flagler Business School with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in History. As an undergraduate, Jon was a Phi Beta Kappa and an Honors graduate of Kenan-Flagler Business School. After graduation, Jon worked for the North Carolina General Assembly as a Special Assistant. Jon was awarded a merit scholarship to attend law school at UNC-Chapel Hill, where he graduated in 2009, with Honors. During law school, Jon was a member of the Holderness Moot Court National Team. After graduating law school, Jon worked as a solo practitioner and, in 2010, joined Gugenheim Law.
When not busy practicing law, Jon enjoys the outdoors, watching football and basketball, reading, and spending time with his wife.
